Function

Land Branch becomes active when there is land leasing, land transfer, construction, and alteration in already built structure, noticing violations, making sure the proper usage of land. Cantonment Board Clifton land branch actually keep records of the following activities:


(i) Branch Working Description
(ii) Renewal of lease.
(iii) Mutation by way Registered Documents.
(iv) Mutation by way Inheritance.
(v) Change of Purpose.
(vi) GLR Extract.

Branch Working Description

Mutation After the approval of Bazar Committee & Board and issuing of its proceeding 07 days. Mutation by way of Inheritance.

  • Application on Form G, U/S 73 of Cantt Act, 1924 (II of 1924) with full address and telephone Number.(If any).
  • Letter of Administration issued by Dist. Judge & High Court of the area.
  • Certified copy of lease deed & renewal of lease.
  • Certified copy of CNIC of deceased & legal heirs.
  • Cantt dues up to date.
  • Certified copy of death certificate of the deceased.
  • Copy of approved building plan.
  • Undertaking on non-judicial stamp paper dully attested by notary public from the transferee for acknowledgement of the conditions on witch the land is held & to the effect that sub-division or change of purpose or encroachment on govt. Land is not involved the const. has been completed according to approved building plans.
  • Public notice in news paper inviting objections.
  • Completion plan/ certificate ( if applicable )

Mutation by way of Registered Documents 

  • Application on Form G, U/S 73 of Cantt Act, 1924 (II of 1924) with full address and telephone Number.(If any).
  • Certified copy of registered documents i.e sale deed / gift / relinquishment deed / surrender deed & any other documents registered by the sub registrar / registrar.
  • Certified copy of lease deed & renewal of lease.
  • Certified copy of CNIC of both transferor's and transferee.
  • Cantt dues up to date.
  • Certified copy of death certificate of the deceased.
  • Copy of approved building plan
  • Undertaking on non-judicial stamp paper dully attested by notary public from the transferee for acknowledgement of the conditions on witch the land is held & to the effect that sub-division or change of purpose or encroachment on govt land is not involved the const. has been completed according to approved building plans.
  • In case special / general power of attorney a certified copy of special / general dully attested by the  Sub-Registrar or attested  or attested by Pakistan Embassy if out side Pakistan.
  • Completion plan / certificate (if applicable).
GLR Extract 07 days
  • Application to the CEO.
  • Certified copy of lease deed & renewal of lease.
  • Certified copy of CNIC.
  • Copy of approved building plan.
  • Completion plan/ certificate ( if applicable).
Renewal of lease 01 Month
  • Application to the CEO for the Renewal of lease.
  • Certified copy of original lease deed.
  • Certified copy of registered documents sale deed / gift deed or any other registered documents & mutation letter if required.
  • Certified copy of CNIC.
  • Copy of approved building plan.
  • Cantt dues upto date.
  • Three photograph of lessee.
  • Undertaking on non-judicial stamp paper dully attested by notary public from the transferee for acknowledgement of the conditions on which the land is held  & to the effect that sub-division or change of purpose or encroachment on Govt . Land is not involved the const. has been completed according to approved building plans.
  • Completion plan/ certificate (If applicable).
Execution fresh lease After the approval of bazaar committee & Board and issuing of its proceeding 07 days
  1. NIC ( old and new ) and form 'B'
  2. Name of the voter list of the area pertaining to the period of 1985 or prior to that.
  3. Electric, gas, telephone bills if any.
  4. Ration card, issued prior to 23rd march, 1985 or prior to that.
  5. Area school certificate.
  6. Any type of license (Arms, Driving) issued to 23rd March, 1985 on the address of plot in the area.
  7. Death certificate showing the address of the deceased occupant.
  8. Birth Certificate of the occupant born prior to the date fixed by the notification, with address of the person in the area.
  9. Payment of tax to Excise and Taxation Department.
  10. PT-I issued by the E & T Department.
  11. Any Bank account or subsequent documents before 1985, showing address of the person of this area.
  12.  Inclusion of name and plot of the concerned in the area list duly confirmed by the committee who surveyed the area. OR
  13. Affidavit of the concerned occupant of the particular house / shop in the area, stating therein the period of stay and proof of the same names of the respectable person who were occupant of nearest house/shop No. objection of cancellation of regularization / lease in case of mis-statement.
  14. Indemnity Bond on stamp indemnified on the Regularization / lease in the area.
  15. Recommendation of muhallah committee for the occupancy before 23-3-1985.
  16. Any other documents (s) as required the cantonment Board. Beside above the Board can check and demand further evidence in proof of occupancy before 23 March, 1985.

  • Application to CEO.
