Association Members

Born in 1953. Studied in Lawrence College Ghora Gali, Cadet College Hasanabdal and Engineering University Lahore. Graduated in B.s.c  Elect Engg in 1975. Got involved in public welfare activism after Law and order breakdown in Karachi in the 90's. Formed Seaview Resident Society in 1992 and motivated a team of resident volunteers to resolve civic issues and law and order problem facing Seaview residents. With community support converted Seaview township into a gated community by raising funds from resident to build a Security wall running 6 kms around 108 acres from 1997-2001 supported by DHA Karachi.

Subsequently established a partnership with Police and CPLC to resolve security issues. Worked as member CPLC (South) and honorary magistrate till 2001. Formed D.A.C.C Defence Association Co-ordinance Committee in 2001. United all resident association of DHA by forming ADR. Due to his volunteer public welfare accomplishments nominated as member (Civilian) Clifton Cantonment Board in Dec 2007 where he sits an honorary basis for 5 hours 4 days a week to help citizens solve their civic problems. Also chairs the Arbitration Council proceedings, Works committee and Bazar Committee. Has been instrumental in forming Complaints redressal committee, Water committee which includes residents of Defence and Clifton.
