Visit of President and CEO with respective officials was held at 11:00 a.m. on 15th February 2012. Following attended the visit:-

President Cantonment Board Clifton Inaugurated
New Water Connection at KALA PUL For DHA Residents
on 21st December, 2011
Karachi (PR) A New water Connection near KALA PUL was inaugurated by Station Commander Karachi and President Cantonment Board Clifton Brig. Anis Ahmed. According to statement issued here on Wednesday, the expenditure on water connection stood at Rs. 10.86 Million and project was completed within short time of two months. Brig. Anis Ahmed told the media that with the help and interest of Corps Commander Karachi Lt. General Zaheer-ul-Islam, this project was completed. He further said that on completion of this project the residents of CBC/DHA will avail the facility of 1.5MGD of extra drinking water on daily basis. He also pointed out that CBC will start system providing pipelines in all DHA areas, which will ensure that the use of water bowzer is minimized. " We are providing safe and clean drinking water to the residents of DHA", he added. CBC Executive officer, Muhammad Hayat Mahr, Chief Cantt. Engineer Niaz Hussain and residents of the area were also present on the occasion.
President Cantonment Board Clifton Visited CBC Beach PARK on 30th November, 2011
Karachi (PR) The President of Cantonment Board Clifton visited CBC Beach Park, on that occasion Cantonment Executive Officer Mr. Hayat Mohammad Meher, Chairman of Horticulture Society Lt. Gen (R) Jahanzaib Arbab, Horticulture incharge Mr. Hasan anwar and the local residents were presented. Brigadier Anis Ahmed the President Cantonment Board Clifton directed about different work regarding decoration, generator, iron grills and for parking area out side CBC Beach Park. He also directed to construct Toilets around the surroundings of Beach Park and cleanliness around it. The President directed CBC to improve watering for plants for their better growth. Chairman Horticulture society Lt. Gen (R) Jahanzaib Arbab while giving briefing states that flower show organized by CBC in CBC beach park on yearly basis.
Inauguration of FAMILY PARK at Chaudhry Khaliq-uz-Zaman Road, Block-8 Clifton on 24th November, 2011
Karachi(PR) Cantonment Board Clifton on Ch. Khaliq-uz-Zaman Road, Constructed a Park which was inagurated by Station Commander Karachi Brig. Anis Ahmed, also a President of Cantonment Board, the expenditure is estimated around 3.6 million rupees, on this occasion Director ML& C Karachi Region Khawaja Iftikhar Ahmed Mir, MNA Khushbakhat Shujaat, CEO Muhammad Hayat Mahr, Mr. Aziz Suharwardi, Mr. Atiq ur Rehman, incharge horticulture Mr. hassan anwar and local residents were present.
CEO Muhammad Hayat Mahr while addressing the attendees pointed out the fact that until and unless the residents are not facilitated to their door steps no institution can formulated itself as role model, CBC has resulting the program to provide door to door service to the residents so as to provide them with basic facilities. After that chief guest of the ceremony Station Commander Karachi Brig. Anis Ahmed pointed out that the large number of attendees is a great source of encouragement for us because we have firmly prioritized to resolve the problems of the residents.
PCB further added that the shortage of water supply in DHA is being fulfilled by new water lines, 2 water filtration plants have also been set up, The health centre building construction work has been started and 3 pedestrian bridges are also underway of formation, the collective effort of all the officials would make CBC a modern civc institute, he also appreciated the efforts of horticulture incharge of CBC Mr. Hassan Anwar and announce case prize for his horticulture team. While concluding the event and talking to the media Director Military Lands and Cantonments Karachi Region Khawaja Iftikhar Ahmed Mir Stated that the goal is to facilitate the residents and for the cause there would be no hindrance in regulating the funds for CBC.
CBC Health Center's Foundation Stone Laid In Chandio Village Punjab Colony On 17th November 2011
Karachi(PR) the foundation of Cantonment Board Clifton Health Centre is a fruitful step through which a proper channel can be maintained for providing sub line medical facilities to the residents of the areas. These thoughts were expressed by director Military Lands and Cantonments Karachi Region Khwaja Iftikhar Ahmed Mir while laying the foundation stone of health centre in Chandio village, Punjab Colony.
Director further added that the policy highlighted by CBC should provide transparent and basic medical facilities to the local residents. He praised the efforts being carried out by CBC officials in order to maintain cleanliness and medical facilities. He also applauded the efforts of Executive Officer CBC Muhammad Hayat Mahr in prioritizing the development in Katchi Abadies. DML & C also praised the step up of health centre in an under developed areas such as Chandio Village and directed Contractors to swiftly and rapidly complete the development projects so that the lower class and poor residents can be facilitated by the health centre.
